Raw Yellow Citrine Crystal Copper Electroformed Pendant Necklace

This one of a kind (reversible) raw yellow citrine pendant necklace is sure to become one of your favorite jewelry pieces for years to come.

I hand-selected, tumbled and polished the stone to create a smooth stone surface. But, left its organic shape in tact.

I carefully hand-formed the bezel cradle setting to emphasize the natural curves of the stone.

The process I used to create the piece is called electroforming. Electroforming creates vastly unique and organic jewelry which can never be predicted or duplicated. This specific piece took 48 hours to slowly encase the crystal in raw copper by constantly adjusting electrical currents passed through an electrolyte bath. Once I was satisfied with the heavily textured formed piece, the pendant was sanded, tumbled, polished, and slightly darkened with a patina wash.

The pendant will arrive suspended on a dark gunmetal tone chain. (Shown on a 24 inch long chain in the photos.)

I only use high quality elements to create my jewelry pieces. I do not use plastic beads that can be purchased at a local craft store. I source my materials from all over the world to bring you the very best.

Note:
Depending on your body's chemistry, you may find wearing copper can turn the skin underneath green - this is a natural, temporary reaction, and washes off easily with soap and water.

Care Instructions:
Copper will naturally darken over time. Give your pendant a light buff with a polishing cloth to lighten the finish.
